About the Office

Empowering Excellence Through Sports

The Sports and Recreation Department at Kieni Technical and Vocational College (Kieni TVC) is a vibrant hub where trainees and sports managers work hand in hand to form competitive teams across a wide range of sporting activities.

The office collaborates closely with the college administration to ensure that all sports disciplines—ranging from ball games such as soccer, volleyball, handball, basketball, and netball to track and field events—are well equipped with modern facilities to enhance performance.

In addition to training, the office provides personalized coaching, mentorship, and expert guidance to help trainees develop their skills and pursue sporting excellence in an environment that fosters teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Trainees are regularly engaged in friendly matches and tournaments against other colleges and community clubs. These activities not only provide exposure but also enable coaches to assess performance, identify strengths and weaknesses, and make informed decisions on areas requiring improvement.
