To further ease the fee burden, the government will be paying Ksh30, 000 for all trainees who take courses in TVET institutions as long as they apply for the courses through the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement (KUCCPS).

In addition, the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) grants loans and bursaries to trainees in TVET institutions. HELB gives a loan of Sh40, 000 to each qualified applicant.
